The T3SU 300 is an unchannelized T3 DSU/SCU providing a built-in HSSI interface and three module slots.

Transports data, video, and voice over unchannelized T3/DS3 circuits
Three expansion slots for optional HSSI, V.35, Ethernet Bridge or Quad DSX-1 modules
Option slots can only be used in point-to-point applications
HSSI interface supports up to 44.2 Mbps in 75 Kbps increments
Integral 10Base-T Ethernet interface for management
Built-in V.34 modem for remote management
Interoperable with Cisco and Juniper at T3 subrates
Configuration, diagnostics and performance monitoring using SNMP, Telnet or VT100
