DS1/E1 over Fiber Optical Solutions
ADTRAN provides scalable solutions for DS1 over fiber which may be provisioned in accordance with serice providers' density requirements. The TA 3000 QDFC/QDFR modules provide compact, cost effective solutions for up to 4 DS1 circuits per fiber and utilize either bidirectional optics of CWDM optical modules. The QDFx units are aggregated by ADTRAN's TA 3000 to provide OC-3 transport for the carried circuits. The OPTI-6100 provides for requirements greater than 4 DS1s and scales gracefully to 336 DS1s over fiber, utilizing the SMX, MX, or LMX chassis.
The Total Access 3000 QDFC/QDFR fiber modules provide compact, cost effective solutions for up to 4 DS1 circuits per fiber delivered from the CO located Total Access 3000 platform.
